Xiaomi has launched its most affordable smartphone called Redmi Go, today in India. The Redmi Go is also the first smartphone by Xiaomi with Android Go which was launched at an event in Delhi.
Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Go in January and it was first launched in the Philippines last month.
This is the entry-level smartphone by Xiaomi, but have some highlighted features like dedicated SD card slot, 3,000mah battery, HD display, and unlimited Google Photos storage. Let’s take a look at all of its specifications listed below.
Redmi Go Specifications
Display – Redmi Go comes with a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720pixels display with 16:9 aspect ratio.
Camera – It comes with an 8MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0, and 1.12μm pixel size. It also has a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Processor – Redmi Go is powered by 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 425 Quad-core processor with Adreno 308 GPU.
RAM/Storage – It has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB using a dedicated SD card slot.
Battery – The Redmi Go is powered by a 3,000mah battery which has a normal charger with micro USB 2.0 jack.
Connectivity – The phone supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n,
WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS.
Software/Sensors – It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) with the lite version of some preinstalled apps. It also has Accelerometer, proximity sensors.
